Unspoiled Nature and Abundant Wildlife

Landlocked between China in the south and the vast Siberian wilderness in the north, Mongolia is the geographic heart of Asia.
The country’s “Eternal Blue Sky” spans breath-taking sceneries of rolling steppe (grasslands), high glacial mountains, impenetrable forests, roaring free-running rivers, deep crystal clear lakes and the largest desert on the Asian continent, the Gobi Desert.
The country is home to a vast array of wildlife, from huge herds of Mongolian Gazelles in the eastern steppe to Snow Leopards and Argali Sheep in the western mountains, to the Gobi Bear in the southern desert.
The natural world has shaped nearly every aspect of Mongolia’s culture and identity and the connection with the environment and their relationship with Eternal Blue Sky and Mother Earth are still deeply rooted in the spiritual life of all contemporary Mongolians.
